Founder's Story
Yang Siyun, the visionary founder of the "Cpingao" sanitary ware brand, embarked on a mission to pioneer original designs in an industry plagued by rampant plagiarism. Driven by a passion for innovation, Yang Siyun attended numerous exhibitions, learning from the past and continually seeking new avenues for original bathroom brand designs.
In 2010, during the Shanghai World Expo, Yang Siyun met German designer Carl Müller, a protégé of Dieter Rams (1932-), Germany's foremost industrial designer. Carl, known for his adherence to Rams' minimalist design philosophy, brought a unique blend of German precision and craftsmanship to his work. Recognizing the immense potential of the Chinese sanitary ware market, Carl was eager to establish a foothold in China through the Cpingao brand.
Yang Siyun, inspired by the sophisticated European bathroom culture and Carl's minimalist designs, envisioned an aesthetic revolution in the Chinese sanitary ware market. "The Chinese sanitary ware market needs an aesthetic revolution, and European minimalist aesthetics will be a crucial weapon for Cpingao to redefine sanitary ware," Yang Siyun remarked.
Their shared vision for innovative and minimalist bathroom products led to a seamless collaboration. In 2015, Qin Yang worked with the prestigious Italian Lorenz+Kaz design studio to create high-end artificial stone furniture and bathroom products, including bathroom bathtubs, wash basins, vanities, cabinets, faucets, solid surface products, pure acrylic products, and resin products. His innovative designs received enthusiastic market feedback and user appreciation.
